Questions sellers actually ask
It genuinely does not run at all. Is it worth anything?
Usually yes, and often more than owners expect. A complete non-running bike still has a frame with a good VIN, wheels, forks, electronics, bodywork and a drivetrain that is worth rebuilding. What guts the value is missing major components, not a dead engine.
The title says salvage or rebuilt. Does that matter?
It affects the number but not whether we buy. Branded titles are a normal part of this market and we deal with them constantly. Mark it accurately in the form so your estimate reflects it rather than getting corrected later.
There is no title and I cannot get one.
We still buy in many of these cases, though it does reduce the offer since it limits what we can do with the machine. Tell us the story on the call — how you acquired it and what documentation exists — and we will tell you honestly what is possible.
It was in a wreck. Do you need to know the details?
Please tell us. Whether the frame took the hit, whether it was down at speed or tipped in a parking lot, and whether it has run since — those change the value substantially and we would rather price it right the first time than renegotiate in your driveway.
I have the bike plus boxes of parts I took off it.
Bring all of it. Original exhaust, take-off bodywork, a spare tank, the seat you replaced — parts that belong to that machine usually add to the offer and they are far easier to sell attached to a bike than alone.
Do you charge to remove it?
Never. Free removal is the entire point of this service. We bring a winch and a trailer, and if it is behind a shed or in the back of a garage with a flat tire, that is expected.
Ready for your number?
It takes about two minutes and costs you nothing. If you would rather just talk to someone, call (877) 551-9538 and ask for the acquisitions desk.
